Over the last few weeks, new episode of Islamic drama was on shows. First, the Health Minister announced that they found pork in Cadbury's halal-safe chocolates. Yes, you heard me right, pork in the chocolates. How a Cadbury chocolate made from pork was not the point, but it is not safe for Muslim to consume. Thousands of consumers felt cheated by Cadbury. In particular, some Muslim organizations were so upset, wanted to sue the company and asked for billions of compensation (spiritually and physically assault), and medical bill for blood transfusion to clean their "pork contaminated blood", though its non't sure where on earth can find the "pure blood" to replace their contaminated blood.
Although Islamic body who granted the halal-safe certification to the Cadbury products shall take the responsibility, the angry Muslims were seems much tolerate to them. Without delay, the Islamic authority make another statement claimed that the chocolate is pork free based on their test procedure and new samples. So, two bodies, the Health Minister and the Islamic authority have two different results on the Cadbury products. It could be some chocolates do contain pork while some do not, all depends on your luck. May god bless you.
Due to these confusion and uncertainty, the sales of the chocolates affected badly, as if all chocolates are made of pork and not safe. Muslim chocolate lovers were now ditching the urge for chocolates and stop their kids eating these harmful products.
Well done our Health Minister, this is so much effective way than increase the price of sugar, as an effort to reduce obesity and diabetes in Malaysia. Next time should try with pork contaminated cigarettes.

Perodua football fever contest
Recently went to Perodua car service center and generously spent RM1000 there :'(
Come across a football fever contest, so called "Lagi-lagi Bola Contest" (more and more football contest).
Step 1 Purchase or service any Perodua between 2 May - 15 July 2014.
Step 2 Count the number of Perodua logos in the picture.
Step 3 SMS the magic code to bring you the prize.
I got it 52, but will be 53 if consider the official logo at the upper left corner as well. Should I put it 53? or 52?
The first prize is RM5000 cash, enough for down payment of a new Myvi perhaps (not the full spec!), but definitely would be able to cover the service cost and spare the rest for next, next and next services too. Second prize 50" LED TV and the third prize is Petrol Card worth RM500.
Hmm.. 53? 52?

Thai BBQ - Old Klang Road
When thinking of Thai food, most of us would think of Tomyam.
In Old Klang Road here, there's a uniquely decorated restaurant called BBQ Thai. Looking from outside, its a messy wooden building with some recyclable items: used container and bricks. But when you enter inside, its another world. They have joined a few wooden huts like a small village. Its vintage styling with modern lighting give us a homely and comfortable feeling. The place is generally clean and there's open air and indoor seats (in the air-conditioned wooden hut).
We ordered some dishes, e.g. seafood tomyam (of course), kerabu, deep fried chicken soft bones and lemon steamed squid. Honestly, nothing was impressive except the lemon steamed squid. Not many people knows about lemon steamed I guess and hence not many Thai food restaurant has this signature dish. But I love it very much since the first time I had it back in Penang.
The squid was very fresh and it was served on a charcoal hot plate with the special lemon source mixed with garlic and chili. The squid would cook on the hot plate before your eyes and beware that not to overly cooked. Though it looks sweet, it is real hot! (more spicy than the tomyam). It burned your lips but with super great satisfaction. The tenderness of squid was so perfectly matched with the sweet, sour and spicy source.
Price of the lemon steamed squid was about RM30 - RM40.
Personally, the food is average, but this lemon steamed squid is highly recommended.

Paella with fresh prawns, prawns and prawns
A bag full of fresh prawns were obtained for free. So we decided to spend the weekend with these prawns and made this Spanish dish "Paella". There were so many prawns and we just manage to cook quarter of them. With saffron, cherry tomatoes, garlic, onion, paprika, parsley and other ingredients all ready, we started the preparation and finished cooking in less than 3 hours.
Yes, though it was the first time make Paella with modified recipe from internet, we got it done (edible and presentable...)
Looks yummy right?? yes, it's absolutely tasty!!

Fun Time in Singapore
Singapore, I called her an artificial city, beautiful and elegant.
First day upon arrival at the Changi Airport, we got the Singapore map in hand, took the MRT, bus and then "jogged" to the hotel... early morning in Singapore... our Ms. Dashing was drenched...
Then we learnt one thing, jotted down the bus number at the bus stop in front of hotel...
We visited a few places for tourists... crowded with people... "people mountain people sea"...
Honestly, food in Singapore were "so so" only... may be because we were tourists... but you can find everything you want here... "commercially available" fried koay tiao, oyster omelette, chicken rice, bak kut teh.... most food courts in the city were fulled and you have to eat faster (and just forget about taking pictures) as the next customer would stand beside staring at you "hungrily"...
Merlion Park... famous land mark for Singapore...
Definitely must drink this holy water from Merlion
Take your time, capture everything you want... but don't forget to put on sun block...
The third hand...
Art exhibition and the street artist... lol
Thank you for offering seat to those who need it more.... such as pregnant women...
Public phone...
China Town in Singapore...
Night scene in Marina Sands Bay...
Drinking at Acid Bar... only for the grown up...
The next day, heading to Universal Studio Singapore... and this is the main reason all the way here to Singapore...
You would turn into kids again in USS... Transformer, Far Far Away, Madagascar, Jurassic Park, Mummy... and more...
Fun time, fun places with fun mates... hahaha :D

An Afternoon With Myself
This is the place wasn't in my plan, but end up I spent the whole afternoon, sitting, looking at the sea and pondering...it was such a beautiful moment all alone...
Looking at the speed boat... people rushing here and there everyday...
Every time someone ask me, what's occupying me? I would struggle a little while...hmm...
Then another question come across, what do I really want in my life?
Okay, then the afternoon over...

Guilin Part 3: Must See
李白:
两岸猿声啼不住
轻舟已过万重山
With monkeys' sad adieus the riverbanks are loud;
My skiff has left ten thousand mountains far away
